Join PSI as a Gifted and Talented Teacher and play a crucial role in identifying and nurturing the unique abilities of gifted students. This position allows you to design and implement advanced educational programs that challenge and stimulate intellectually gifted students, helping them reach their full potential.

A Day in the Life:

  • Curriculum Development: Begin your day by developing specialized curriculum plans that are both challenging and engaging, tailored to meet the advanced learning needs of gifted students.

  • Instructional Delivery: Conduct dynamic and interactive classes that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving among your students.

  • Student Assessment: Continuously assess the progress of your students through innovative and appropriate evaluation methods, adjusting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.

  • Collaboration and Advocacy: Collaborate with other educators, parents, and community members to promote understanding and support for the educational needs of gifted students.

  • Enrichment Activities: Plan and coordinate enrichment activities, competitions, and projects that further stimulate and develop students’ talents and interests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Curriculum Design: Create and implement a curriculum that extends beyond the standard coursework to challenge gifted students.

  • Instructional Excellence: Provide high-level instruction that promotes advanced learning and personal growth.

  • Student Engagement: Engage students with a variety of teaching methods designed to meet their unique intellectual and emotional needs.

  • Parent and Community Engagement: Maintain regular communication with parents and involve the community in the learning process to support the development of gifted students.

  • Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest research and developments in gifted education and actively seek professional growth opportunities.

 

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Gifted Education, or a related field.

  • Certification: Valid teaching certification, preferably with an endorsement in gifted education. 

  • Experience: Experience in teaching gifted and talented students, with a demonstrated ability to challenge and inspire high-achieving learners. 

  • Skills: Strong organizational and creative thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for educational excellence. 

  • Professionalism: A commitment to continuous learning and ethical teaching practices, along with a dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
